Arts Council and Forsyth County Government to Host “Summer Parks Concert Series”

Free family friendly concerts to be held at Triad Park and Tanglewood Park

Winston-Salem, NC (May 16, 2022) – Forsyth County Government and Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County will host the Summer Parks Concert Series at Triad Park in Kernersville, NC and Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. There will be three concerts hosted at Triad Park and three concerts hosted at Tanglewood Park. West End Mambo will kick off the series on Sunday, June 5 at Tanglewood Park.


“We are grateful for the continued partnership and support of Forsyth County that enables us to offer these concerts to our entire community,” expressed Chase Law, President and CEO of Arts Council. “This family-friendly concert series offers something for everyone. We are certain that this year will be our best year yet!”


2022 marks the seventh season for the Summer Parks Concert Series which is a collaborative presentation by Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County and Forsyth County Government. During the free concerts, community partners will be able to enjoy food and beverages from local vendors and food trucks. Community members and arts organizations will have booths at the parks and all six concerts will include free arts activities for kids sponsored by Publix Charities.

All concerts are free and family friendly. Food trucks and refreshments will be available for purchase.


Tanglewood Park: 4061 Clemmons Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012


Triad Park: 9652 West Market St., Kernersville, NC 27284


Concerts and parking at both parks are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and may bring a picnic or patronize food trucks onsite. Refreshments such as water, beer and wine are available with all proceeds supporting Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County. No outside alcohol is permitted.

One of Melon Playground's best features is that it lets users lead the finding process. The game doesn't have long tutorials or directions that are hard to understand.

In Golf Hit, It’s so refreshing to see an outdoor concert series that brings together live music, food vendors, and art activities—and best of all, is family-friendly and free to attend.

2025 Holiday Hours:

The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts will have reduced hours from 1p - 9p on the 22nd and 23rd and will be closed from the 24th through the 4th reopening on the 5th.
