The beloved Lyrics by the Lake series is making its highly anticipated return to Winston-Salem. The series has become a can’t miss summer tradition since its creation in 2021 and Season 6 promises to be no exception.

Lyrics by the Lake feels like your favorite family reunion, cookout, and homecoming tailgate all in one! Every year, when the weather breaks, you know it’s time to mark your calendar so you can link up with your friends and family to come and unwind at the end of the week while y’all laugh, dance and sing your hearts out at Lyrics by the Lake. Created in 2021, Lyrics by the Lake has continued to grow and has quickly become a summer staple in Winston-Salem, NC.

The series is unique in that it creates an environment that’s welcoming to not only you and your boo, but you can also bring your momma and your homegirls, too! And while last year looked a little different, featuring only one large festival-style show at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC, that welcomed close to 750 attendees, featured 15+ vendors and 7+ food trucks, we could not wait to get back to our “regularly scheduled programming” of 4 monthly summer shows!  In partnership with The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County, Lyrics by the Lake is returning for Season 6 this summer! And while the venue has changed, the energy, the vibes and the talent will be the same greatness you all have come to expect from Lyrics by the Lake shows.

Hosted by LB the Poet and Mr. P.E.T.T.Y with DJ Micki Blendz, this season will be full of laughs, poetry, music, and A/C as all 4 shows will take place in the Hanes Brand Theatre except for June 19th which will take place in Reynolds Place Theatre in downtown Winston-Salem, NC.   Featuring W.O.R.D Society along with other talent from across the state, the Black Market full of your favorite local vendors and food for your soul, this season will certainly be one for the books! Season passes go on sale April 1st, while tickets for the May 15th show will be available beginning April 15th.

With its winning combination of entertainment, culture, and community, Lyrics by the Lake continues to solidify its place as a cornerstone of summer in Winston-Salem. Be sure to mark your calendars, grab your tickets early, and gather your crew this is one series you won’t want to miss.

It’s exciting to see this beloved local summer arts series return with packed talent and vendor offerings, and I plan to map out all four show dates ahead of time using wirefillchart so I don’t miss a single evening of poetry and live music.

More local businesses appear to be comparing Toronto SEO Company providers than before.

A random scroll turned into Meowdoku, and now I fully get why these little grid puzzles are addictive. You’re placing cats like queens on a chessboard, except each colored area also needs one. No same rows, no same columns, no touching corners. It’s simple, but it cooks.

The Lyrics by the Lake Returns! announcement is uplifting—it shows how community events centered on music can bring people together in a joyful, creative atmosphere. I support the article’s perspective that such gatherings enrich cultural life and provide a platform for artists to connect with audiences. Much like Slope game, where balance and focus are essential, organizing a successful festival requires harmony between planning, talent, and participation, turning a simple concert into a memorable shared experience.
