Reynolda Gardens’ Spring Plant Sale April 26

Reynolda Gardens’ Spring Plant Sale April 26

Stock up on plants for the spring!

Reynolda Gardens is holding its annual Spring Plant Sale on Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will take place on the front lawn of Reynolda House Museum of American Art at 2250 Reynolda Road in Winston-Salem.

The Reynolda Gardens Plant Sale offers specialty and hard-to-find annuals, perennials, tropicals, and other staff favorites curated by Reynolda Gardens horticulturists. Each plant has been thoughtfully selected for its proven performance in the Piedmont region. Highlights for sale include Baptisia 'Golden Anniversary', Hosta 'Gigantosaurus' and Iris ×Pseudata 'Shiryukyo'. For more information and for a full list of plants for sale, please visit reynolda.org/spring-plant-sale.

“We offer this plant sale twice a year to the community, not only to give people the chance to stock up on hard-to-find varietals, but also as an opportunity to help educate on what can be grown in your own backyard, patio, or inside your home,” said Jon Roethling, director of Reynolda Gardens. “You get to leave the plant sale with something new and tips for gardening success that you can then share with your friends and family.”

Shoppers can visit the adjacent Formal Gardens and Brown Family Conservatory for further inspiration. Decorative pots and other garden-themed gift items will be available for purchase in the Reynolda Welcome Center.

Friends of Reynolda Gardens can pre-order plants now through April 23. Not yet a Friend of the Gardens? Call 336.758.5889 or email advancement@reynolda.org to join today.
