Art Nouveau Winston-Salem Presents “OUTSIDE IN” Exhibition

An inside look at local artists and their contributions to public spaces

Winston-Salem, NC (October 3, 2019) --  Art Nouveau of Winston-Salem (ANWS), an affiliate organization of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, will host an exhibition, “Outside In: An inside look at local artists and their contributions to public spaces,” October 10- November 9 in the Arboreal Gallery in The Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts.

“We are fortunate to have so many talented artists in our city who often choose public spaces for their palate.  We see their work in usual places, such as murals in the Arts District, and then the lights come up after a production at Hanesbrands Theatre and we see Hieronymus’ art on the fire doors – someplace unexpected.  And that’s exciting!” said Laura Niece, Co-Chair of ANWS.

The exhibition is free and open to the public during usual operating hours at The Milton Rhodes Center which is located at 251 N Spruce Street in downtown Winston-Salem.

Jose Figueiredo, Hieronymus, Bryce Hauser, Kat Lamp, Latisa Tatum, Lena Fernandez Giraldo and Laura Lashley will be featured. The exhibition will have educational components that enable exhibition attendees to learn about each of the artists and their work.
