Kyndal Hutchinson Joins Arts Council Staff as Patron Services and Gallery Support Associate

Winston-Salem, NC (January 12, 2020) --  Kyndal Hutchinson has joined the staff of The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County as Patron Services and Gallery Support Associate.  Christine Jones, Arts Council Chief Operating Officer, said, “It is rare that you find a recent college graduate with the diverse  arts background and broad practical experience that Kyndal brings with her. She is a great fit for our Arts Council”.

Hutchinson attended Appalachian State University and has devoted her time to the arts since high school, beginning with technical theatre and stage management and developing skills in photography with portraiture, automotive, and outdoor scenery. She also worked as the social media coordinator for the University’s Visual Arts Department, and was a lead gallery associate at Smith Gallery on the Boone campus.

She graduated from Appalachian in 2019 with a degree in Art and Visual Culture with a concentration in Art Management and a minor in Nonprofit Management.  She completed internships at Blowing Rock Art and History Museum in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, and at Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma, gaining experience in both marketing and development.
