O&0 Short Film
Sponsored Partner: Jack Lafferty
Arts Council is proud to serve as a fiscal agent for O&0 SHORT FILM.

Thank you for considering a tax-deductible donation toward our project! We are proud to continue our partnership with the Arts Council of Winston Salem and Forsyth County.

After successfully completing production on the O&0 short film, creator Jack Lafferty has moved his sights to longer term goals including establishing a production company in tribute of this first film, development of new films, and a plan to take the O&0 short film to the communities where the impact will be biggest.

With one of the central characters of O&0 struggling to adjust to civilian life after serving in a combat military setting, the film has had strong resonance with active and former military along with family members who have so far seen the film. Partnering with NC native Benjamin Riddle former US Marine and inspiration for the part of Ben in the film, Jack will seek opportunities to connect with and share the film with military communities in North Carolina and beyond.

Donations made through this fiscal sponsorship with the Arts Council of Winston Salem and Forsyth County will be directly used for establishing O&0 Productions, development of more films and stories with meaning, and aid Jack and Ben in taking the O&0 short film to audiences with whom the film can have the greatest impact.

Thank you for your generosity and support!

About Arts Council's Fiscal Sponsorships
In 2021, Arts Council launched a new service to the community by serving as a fiscal agent for projects that fulfil our mission as the chief advocate of arts and culture in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. A fiscal agent is an established IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that agrees to accept donations on behalf of a group that does not have IRS tax exemption. By serving as a fiscal agent for various local projects, we are better able to support the arts and cultural community by accepting funds on our partner's behalf and granting them back to our partner organization. This gives donors a tax deduction for their gift and helps for us to better fulfil our mission at Arts Council.
