The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem will present its spring Youth Production of Anything Goes: Youth Edition May 2-4 at Reynolds Place Theatre, located in the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, 251 N. Spruce Street in Winston-Salem.  Performances will be Friday, May 2, at 7 pm, Saturday, May 3, at 7 pm, and Sunday, May 4, at 2 pm.  Tickets are $14, excluding taxes and fees.  Call (336) 725-4001 for tickets (box office hours: 12-4 pm, MWF) or purchase them online at www.LTofWS.org


This charming musical comedy takes place aboard the S.S. American, where a lovestruck stowaway, a glamorous nightclub singer, a goofy gangster, and an eccentric cast of characters collide in a whirlwind of mistaken identities, unexpected romance, and madcap schemes.  With toe-tapping tunes by Cole Porter—including favorites like “You’re The Top,” “I Get A Kick Out of You,” and “Anything Goes”—this youth production delivers timeless humor, dazzling musical numbers, and plenty of heart. 

Perfect for the whole family, Anything Goes: Youth Edition is a delightful voyage you won’t want to miss! 

Anything Goes has absolutely everything you could possibly want in a Broadway musical," remarked Director Heather Levinson.  “It has toe-tapping music, flashy costumes, mesmerizing dance numbers, romance, comedy, showgirls, mobsters, and it all takes place on a cruise ship!  These young performers bring so much energy and enthusiasm to this classic musical, and I'm so excited to share their talents with the community!” 

 

Anything Goes: Youth Edition will be directed by Heather Levinson, with music direction by Michael Lauricella and choreography by Katie MuckenfussDaisy Neske and Kristen Bridge will design costumes.  Claire Daniel will design the lighting, and Charity Hampton will design the sound.  Grace Hampton will stage manage the production.   

 

Cast members are Eden Bailey, Ken Burton, Harrison Carter, Olivia Carter, Ava Cline, Silas Erhardt, Asher Lisi, Alex Major, Sarah “Rex” Nance, Allie Perry, Cora Roach, Andrea Rogers, Finn Stidham, Isabell Stoddard. 

 

This show runs for approximately one hour, with no intermission. It is appropriate for ages 7 & up.
