The range of disciplines is impressive, yet I’m wondering how strictly the geographic eligibility is enforced. If an artist from just outside the region applies to something labeled for North Carolina residents, is that automatically disqualified, or is there sometimes flexibility based on the project? That would change how I prioritize.

The deadline spread between April and July makes it too easy to miss a good residency. I’m putting each opportunity into a shared calendar with my collective so we can split applications before the summer rush. That way nothing gets dropped during exhibition season.
