Arts Council serves as a leader in fueling artists and organizations, fueling access and fueling sustainability ensuring the next generation has access and resources for the arts.


​​​​​Your donation to Arts Council’s Community Fund for the Arts helps to provide support for hundreds of annual grants and programs including but not limited to:

Fueling Artists and Organizations
Your support towards Arts Council strengthens the Community Grants Fund and provides a conduit for artists and arts organizations across Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. In FY 25 Arts Council awarded $1,050,712 in grant funding.

Fueling Access
With your support, Arts Council serves as a convener and collaborator through venue access, programming, technical support, and ensuring creative spaces remain available and active for artists and audiences. In FY25, Arts Council invested $452,041 towards in-kind subsidies and support.
Fueling Sustainability
With your support, we can ensure the next generation has access and resources for the arts. This long-term support includes operational strength, leadership giving and the infrastructure that powers our mission.​​​

Did you know Arts Council is the largest funder of arts education for WS/FCS?
Your contribution to Arts Council brings hands-on arts experiences to thousands of students each year.

The Arts-in-Education Grant connects artists and arts organizations with elementary, middle and high school students by funding programs designed to awaken their intellectual and creative curiosity. In FY 25, Arts Council invested $142,257 through this grant program for our public school system.
