Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance presents AscenDANCE

An evening of world-class dance celebrating hope, connection and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
Join Asheville’s acclaimed contemporary ballet company for their 23rd season. Heather Maloy, creator of Appalachian Phoenix, presents a thrilling new world premiere alongside two extraordinary works of dance theater:
Salvatore Aiello’s Clowns and Others – a masterful, comic exploration of human relationships and playfulness, beloved by audiences around the globe since 1979.
Heather Maloy’s HUNGER – twelve vivid vignettes exploring human desire and need, blending humor, pathos, and insight. Presented in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank, it celebrates our shared humanity while highlighting the realities of food insecurity.
In the Words of Our Audience –
“Thank you for a phenomenal evening here in Winston Salem! To attend a performance that was funny, and uplifting, with fantastic choreography and professional dancers was just what we needed!”
