Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County

The Martha Bassett Show: Live at Tanglewood Park

Sunday, June 16 from 2:00-5:00pm

The second concert in Arts Council's 9th Annual Parks Concert Series features The Martha Bassett Show: Live at Tanglewood Park on Sunday, June 16 from 2-5pm. The concert series, presented in partnership with Forsyth County Government, provides free, family-friendly concerts showcasing local and national musicians in beautiful outdoor venues.

The June 16 concert features a live taping of The Martha Bassett Show, a weekly music program that blends the fabric of the national roots and Americana scene with the rich artistry, history, and flair of North Carolina’s Piedmont region. Helmed by one of the state’s most distinguished musicians, the live show features national artists, fresh local faces, and the music of Martha Bassett. Each show is a collaboration in song and conversation between Martha, her band, and the guests.

The Martha Bassett Show: Live at Tanglewood Park takes place at the Tanglewood Park Band Shell (4061 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC). Free parking is available adjacent to the band shell. Gates open at 1pm; the concert will be 2-5pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and may bring a picnic or purchase food from vendors onsite. Wine, beer, and water will be available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting Arts Council. No outside alcohol is permitted. Dogs on leashes are welcome.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will take place at Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts (251 N Spruce Street, Winston-Salem). Check Arts Council’s website and social media for day-of venue updates.
