In this gripping drama of righteous suspicion and passionate denial, Father Brendan Flynn, a thirty-something Catholic priest is assigned to St. Nicholas Parish, the Bronx, New York. The likable assistant pastor enjoys playing basketball with the boys of the school until it is reported that one boy returned to class with wine on his breath. School principal Sister Aloysius suspects Father Flynn of inappropriate relations with the student and undertakes her own investigation of the priest’s record before confronting him.
