P.L.A.Y. Music is seeking a Lead Strings Teaching Artist (on a substitute basis) for the following area:
Team Chevalier (beginner/beginner plus (+) violin classes)
Monday & Wednesday 3:15 pm-4:15 pm
October 3, 2022 – December 15, 2022
Responsible for leading beginning/intermediate string pedagogy for 2nd – 4th-grade students in P.L.A.Y. Music, a Winston-Salem Symphony program. He or she will ensure the highest quality beginning string experience for students, create lesson plans based on a set curriculum and pedagogy in collaboration with other teaching artists and staff, and support each child holistically. He or she will support the El Sistema philosophy through the development of well-rounded musical citizens and the encouragement of community and family involvement.
