NC Black Rep - Bookkeeper
Job description: Seeking a business-minded, details-oriented individual to provide bookkeeping services in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment on a full-time basis. A successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, extraordinary attention to detail and have a positive, solution-oriented attitude. In addition to the Bookkeeping duties, the candidate will play a significant role in managing our Ticketing System.
Qualifications:
At least Five Years of experience as a bookkeeper
At least an Associated Degree in Accounting and or Bookkeeping
Proficient in Quick Books Accounting Systems
Proficient in Excel Spread Sheet, graphs, and charts
Knowledgeable in Microsoft PowerPoint
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word
Bookkeeping Certifications would be helpful
Quick Learner for the Ticket Sales System
Computer Proficient
Works well with others and is a Team Member
Quick Learner with excellent business skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, positing transactions; ensure legal requirement compliance.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by maintaining chart of accounts, defining policies and procedures.
Maintains subsidiary ledgers and accounts by verifying allocations and posting transactions.
Balances subsidiary ledgers and accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounts information and trends.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports management on needed actions.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
