COVID-19 Guidelines

With the recent rise in COVID-19 infections in Winston-Salem, across North Carolina and throughout the country due to the Delta variant, beginning Monday, August 30, 2021, all patrons, performers and stage crew members (18 years and older) attending/working events and performances at Arts Council’s campus will be required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 OR a negative PCR lab test result from 72 hours prior to the scheduled event you wish to attend. At-home rapid tests will not be accepted.

Proof of vaccination can be a physical vaccination card, or a photo/scan of the front and back of a vaccination card on a mobile device.

The City of Winston-Salem instituted a mask mandate for all indoor events, effective August 20, 2021. Masks are required for entry by all guests to Arts Council’s campus. Arts Council campus venues include Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts’ Reynolds Place Theatre, Mountcastle Theatre, and galleries – as well as HanesBrands Theatre.

If you purchased a ticket for an upcoming event and don’t feel comfortable with the above policies, contact the box office of the organization from which you purchased your ticket.

All Arts Council staff members are fully vaccinated. We are committed to doing our part to protect our community from the further spread of COVID-19 and revitalizing our arts and cultural sector that has been greatly impacted from the last year and a half of this pandemic. Our goal is to keep our venues open, our artists employed, and our community safe so that we can enjoy live performances together and continue forward with the reopening of the sector.

Our team is working hard to do a challenging job in some very uncertain times. We ask for your help and cooperation in complying with these safety precautions so that we can continue to enjoy live gatherings together.
