All In

Arts Council is proud to serve as a fiscal agent for ALL IN.

ALL IN is based on the inspiring true story of Chase Blackburn. In 2005 Chase Blackburn was an un-drafted free agent who was invited to training camp to tryout for the New York Giants and ended up making the team. As an un-drafted rookie for the New York Giants, Blackburn spent most of that season as a backup linebacker and special teamer.  Then, in 2011 Chase was released by the Giants and faced with the possibility of never playing in the NFL again.

During that year he tried against all odds to make it back into the NFL with the support of his friends and family. During that season after being released by the Giants Chase tried out for 6 teams, with no luck. He was considered a Long Shot to ever play in the NFL again. During this time Chase leaned on his faith and his family to help keep his dream alive of one day playing in the NFL again. Due to injuries to the Linebackers the Giants signed Chase back onto the team in November. A few weeks later in a game against the Packers, Blackburn recorded an interception against Aaron Rodgers in his own end. Then miraculously in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLVI, Blackburn recorded an interception against Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, the lone turnover of the game. This changed the momentum of the game and the play was vital to the Giants winning the Super Bowl.

In 2021, Arts Council launched a new service to the community by serving as a fiscal agent for projects that fulfil our mission as the chief advocate of arts and culture in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. A fiscal agent is an established IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that agrees to accept donations on behalf of a group that does not have IRS tax exemption. By serving as a fiscal agent for various local projects, we are better able to support the arts and cultural community by accepting funds on our partner's behalf and granting them back to our partner organization. This gives donors a tax deduction for their gift and helps for us to better fulfil our mission at Arts Council.
