The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County is looking for some dedicated volunteers to assist with our many exciting and on-going activities.  We rely on enthusiastic volunteers like you to keep the arts vibrant in our community!  Check out the below positions.  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or would like more information, please send an email to: volunteers@intothearts.org .  On the subject line, please indicate which position you are interested in.

Volunteer Positions Available

Operations Assistant:

Help the operations staff keep the Arts Council thriving.  Tasks vary depending on the need. 

Events Crew:

The Sawtooth building presents and produces a variety of events throughout the year.

The volunteers will assist the events coordinator in a variety of activities including but not limited to: promotion of events, working at events, being a vital member of a committee, assisting with the master calendar, etc.

Receptionist Assistant:

This volunteer will assist the Arts Council in answering the phone in a friendly manner.  In addition, the volunteer will greet patrons that enter the Sawtooth building with a warm smile and a friendly, "Hello."

Job shifts are in 2 or 4 hour blocks.
