City of Arts & Innovation
Thanks to funds raised during The Arts Council’s 2007-2010 comprehensive campaign, Winston-Salem underwent new branding and was able to develop signage, a special events-related website and other tools to market itself as “The City of Arts & Innovation.”
The slogan underscores the importance of both the arts and new technology — particularly that housed within the Piedmont Research Park – to enhancing the growth of Winston-Salem.
