Renaissance Society / 1949 Society
The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County seeks to enhance the quality of life in our community by providing financial support for and increasing the community’s engagement in the arts. The Renaissance Society recognizes the generosity of our donors and serves to deepen their emersion in the arts. In 2011, The Arts Council introduced the 1949 Society, which pays homage to the year in which The Arts Council was formed and the beginning of the arts council movement across the nation. As a member of either the Renaissance Society or the 1949 Society, you join hundreds of individuals throughout our community in support and celebration of the arts.
